    ______________________________________________
    How We Began

Providence Fine Arts Center started out as North County Home School Band and Choir. There was no promotion of the group outside of word of mouth, and yet the number of students participating grew by leaps and bounds. There was a long waiting list to enroll for new students.
Terri Blackwell realized that their size no longer fit easily within the co-op and so Providence Fine Arts Center was formed and staffed. We moved to a larger church to enable more students to participate. Since then, we have now moved on to even another church.

    Where We Are

Providence holds its classes at New Hope Baptist Church.
It is located at 4450 Edmundson Road, Edmundson, Missouri 63134.
    Phone Number: 314-423-7827
    Website: http://www.newhopebaptist-edmundson.org/.
This Church has been very gracious in allowing us to hold our classes and lessons there.

    What We Believe

We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God.
We believe that "God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
We believe that salvation is a free gift to all who believe in and trust Jesus Christ to redeem them through his death and resurrection. A person's works do not earn salvation but reflect it. The gift of salvation must be received by individual faith in accepting Jesus Christ's substitutionary death on the cross.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and his word need not be amended or re-evaluated for this or any generation.
We believe that we should conform ourselves to God's word, not conform God's word to changing times or situations.
